Charles-Edouard LeBlanc

Charles-Edouard LeBlanc of Memramcook East passed away at the Dr. Georges L. Dumont university hospital center on February 20, 2012 at the age of 68. Born on March 29, 1943 in Memramcook East, he was the son of the late Phillip LeBlanc and the late Dora Dupuis. He was a pipefitter for Local 694 for 40 years until his retirement. He is survived by his wife Alfreda of 43 years of marriage, two daughters, Nicole (Michael) Bérubé of Miramichi and Chantal (Attila) Akesehirli of California; one son, Stéphane (Erica) of Dieppe, 7 grandchildren: Julien, Shawn, Evan, Isabelle, Melodie, Simon and Emilie; three sisters, Catherine (late Ulysse) Richard of Grand Barachois, Lorraine Gautreau of St-Joseph and Joanne (Alphée) Maillet of Mass, two brothers, Adrice (Gilberte) and Hector (Linda) both of Memramcook East;  his two dogs, Zoé and Maya and his two cats Billy and Cosmo and by several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister, Blanche and by two brothers Alex and Jacques. Visitation will be held at Dupuis Funeral Home on Wednesday February 22 from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm and there will be no visitation before the funeral. Funeral mass will be held at Notre Dame de Lourdes church, Memramcook East on Thursday February 23 at 11:00 am. Interment will be held in the parish cemetery.
